DOJ and the 2nd Amendment

There is no easier way to see which parts of the federal government are opposed to the basic freedoms and liberties as given by God and codified in the Bill of Rights then to see the way in which the 2nd Amendment is attacked on every level.  This article from the Daily Caller clearly illuminates what is already known, Eric Holder has no desire to protect liberties but will do everything in his power to push forward the political agenda of his boss. 
First of all, let's examine the opening paragraph, "Attorney General Eric Holder wants to explore “common sense” gun reforms, like mandating that gun owners would have to wear bracelets before they could activate their firearms."  Okay, I'm done laughing now, because the idea of Eric Holder, gun control and common sense should never be used in the same sentence.  I guess by common sense gun control we will overlook the murder of U.S. citizens by weapons allowed to leak into the hands of Mexican cartels under his watch.  Now, if we want to talk straight, then tracking those weapons would be "common sense."
Later on he states, "It’s those kinds of things that I think we want to try to explore so that people have the ability to enjoy their Second Amendment rights while at the same time decreasing the misuse of weapons that lead to the kinds of things we see on a daily basis, where people, kids especially, are struck down.”  My favorite, "it's for the children argument."  Always a sure fallback when you know that what you are proposing is ridiculous on face value.  And his proposal is ridiculous if anyone actually believes that Eric Holder wants you, the individual, to be able to exercise your 2nd Amendment rights.  So let me get this straight, you can wear this bracelet which is tied to using the gun and this bracelet can be traced anywhere so that we can track down when a weapon is being used in an improper way.  I'm sure no one ever would think of tracking individuals with the bracelets, every gun and in all probability there would be a remote way to shut down using the gun.  Well, other than that, feel free to exercise your 2nd Amendment rights.
You see, while the death of every innocent person is a tragedy, we have laws to deal with criminals.  Unfortunately, the same civil government that wants to take away your rights doesn't seem to actually ever want to punish people who murder others with the death penalty, but that is another issue.  Instead, they want to infringe on the rights of innocent people and take away your ability to defend yourself, your family, your property and to have the ability to fight against just the sort of tyranny described here.  So our collective answer is no Mr. Holder, we don't want your common sense restricting our 2nd Amendment, or any other Amendment for that matter.
