When will the States stand up against the Federal Government

In this Breitbart article, a state(in this case Ohio) is being told by a federal judge that they must follow the licensing laws of another state, even if in direct contradiction to their own state laws.  I'm waiting for the day when these states will finally wake up to the fact that the Federal government is completely nullifying the distinction between the Federal and State levels of government.  I'm guessing that day will never come given that many states need the influx of Federal money and thus have tied themselves to that trough.  The bigger issue, as hinted here, is that this goes well beyond the current issue of the day which is to jam "homosexual marriages" down the throats of every citizen.  First, it is a direct attack on Federal law which still states, "that no State... shall be required to give effect to any public act, record, or judicial proceeding of any other State... respecting a relationship between persons of the same sex.”  Second, it is completely destructive of the entire idea of state sovereignty.  And lastly, it nullifies the entire idea that States have the right to license practitioners in law, education, businesses, etc. in the way that they seem fit.  At the end of the day, this is bad law made by a federal judge with no foresight and no purpose other than to further the homosexual agenda.
