Dumbing down the workforce

As this article from WND shows, an individual company has decided to not give a job to a previously qualified applicant once it was determined that the individual was homeschooled.  While the single case is disturbing, the trend in the future as states move towards common core and new nationalized standards is that the homeschooled family will be increasingly pushed to the fringes.  A totalitarian state cannot and ultimately will not accept the education of people outside of its control and we should expect that over time, as the civil government erodes away at individual liberty, this trend will continue.  Remember, it is about control, control over the rights of families, the workplace and all of life.  By its nature, homeschooling is non-conformist and that in itself is a reason for the civil government to oppose the practice and success at every level.
