Is our current leadership really capable of handling current events?

Here are a few links to some of the current trouble spots in the world.  China, while not a hot spot now, is on the fastrack to Asian supremacy, while the Ukraine is on Russia's scope.  Venezuela is a complete mess and we haven't helped by vacillating in our support of basic civil rights.  I'd love to think that our current leadership is ready for all of these foreign troulbes, but thank goodness they've kept their eye on the ball continuing to ramp up the Affordable Care Act and engaging in social transformation.  By the way, I think that the scope of our international problems right now would be difficult for even the most engaged administration to deal with so I don't mean to minimize what are truly daunting issues.  I just think that we could probably find a better way to deal with them then just cool handshakes with dictators.
